~ First Christian Through the Years ~ |
|
| This is the first church building that was located at 711 Reynolds Street and was built in 1842 with the help of Mrs. Emily Tubman. The building was turned into a school for girls when the members moved into the new church building at Greene and 7th Streets but was later lost to the great fire of 1916. |
